At the People's Clinic...

We advocate for regular, frequent treatments.

It is how acupuncture works best.

We treat in a group setting.

You will receive your treatment in a soothing treatment area with soft lighting and music while fully clothed in a room with other patients who are receiving a treatment.

We charge on a sliding scale.

Our sliding scale of $15-$40 dollars per treatment allows you to choose the fee that best fits into your life and your budget.  It also allows you to receive the amount of treatments that will best work for your condition.  It removes the element of high costs from your healing.

Scheduling is done online.

This allows us to spend our time treating you, our patients, and keeps our costs low so we can continue to bring exceptional health care at affordable costs.  (If there is any problem with scheduling online, you can always give us a call or email us.)

We do not accept debit or credit cards.

Please be sure to bring cash or a check to your appointments..

Donna J. Selle, MS, L.Ac. Dipl. Ac. is an Idaho native and a Boise State University graduate.  She received her Master of Science degree in Acupuncture from Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington. Bastyr's rigorous program required study of both Western Sciences and Chinese Medicine, as well as a three year intership.  Donna was chosen as an intern for Harborview Medical Center, Puget Sound Public Health Clinics, Highline Hospital's Cancer Center and Providence Hospital's Mount St. Vincent nursing home facility where she worked alongside medical doctors, naturopathic doctors, nurses and mental health professionals. Additional internships were completed at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health where she specialized in Women's Health and fertility support with a gynecologist.
Donna practiced in Seattle after graduating, but could not stay away from Boise for long and is delighted to call it "home" again.

Gretchen was attracted to acupuncture because it works with the body’s ability to heal itself. She practices with a focus on empowering the patient to be an active participant in the re-balancing of their body, mind, and spirit. Gretchen strives to partner with her patients as they learn and grow in their health and well-being. She is dedicated to providing safe, high quality acupuncture at an affordable price to people in all stages of their lives.

After studying acupuncture and herbs in China, Stacey returned to the Treasure Valley to offer relief to those in her community.  With the current rates for a traditional acupuncture treatment, Stacey soon realized even her own friends and family couldn't receive regular treatments.  She believes the supportive community setting of group acupuncture allows a person to get regular treatments and get their body back into balance.  She has always been interested in finding affordable healthcare, and has made it her personal mission to help those who suffer find relief from their ailments.  Stacey provides friendly, caring, and individualized treatments to help reach your wellness goals.

Donna has fostered an ability to make comfortable the most apprehensive patient. Her manner and style is gentle and compassionate. Donna's mission is to empower her patients to make informed choices about their health care and to be a partner in whatever health care decisions are appropriate for you; incorporating acupuncture, herbs and dietary counseling into your treatment plans. Communication and education are paramount in her practice, and her acupuncture technique is gentle and painless.
