Appointments

What to Expect
For your first visit please read our Welcome Letter (Hyperlink to form), and also download the necessary paperwork HERE (Hyperlink to form)  and fill it out before you arrive.  We will go over your health history and you can tell us a bit about what is bothering you and how we can help.  You will then receive your treatment.

Please allow for about 75 minutes for your first visit and about an hour for follow up treatments.

On the day of your appointment

Please download and fill out your paperwork beforehand and bring it with you.  If you do not have access to a printer, please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment and you can fill the paperwork at the clinic.  Please wear clothing that is comfortable and allows access to your legs from the knees down, and your arms from the elbows down.

Payment
Please bring a check or cash for your appointment; we are unable to take debit or credit cards.

There will be a one-time $10 fee in addition to your treatment fee on the first visit to cover paperwork costs.

We require 24 hour notice for cancellations.  If less than 24 hours notice is given or an appointment is missed without notice, a $15 fee will be assessed.

Tips to maximize your treatment

  • Please do not come to your appointments on an empty stomach; have a little something in your belly.
  • It’s not recommended to participate in strenuous exercise on the day you receive acupuncture.  Gentle exercise like a walk, gentle yoga or tai chi is encouraged.
  • The treatment room has soft, soothing music playing, but you are welcome to bring your headphones if you’d like.  Please choose music that allows for relaxation.  It is not recommended to listen to audio books or spoken word, unless it is a guided meditation.
  • Feel free to bring a favorite blanket, earplugs, an eye pillow or mask...anything that will help you to relax.
